Simple things someone can do to feel better about themselves. The number one major thing to do is be yourself all the time. Be yourself than try to be somebody else. Talk like yourself. Walk like yourself. That will always because some people do hate themselves. Some people don't like themselves. If you find yourself in a position where you don't like yourself. It's going to be difficult to like other people. Because liking other people is a direct result how of how much you actually like yourself. If you don't like other people, people will not like you back. You will be in anybody's bad books. And if you find yourself that you don't like yourself, the first thing you need to do is to talk to someone about it. Make sure that you really find somebody to talk to about it. Some people will say when you talk to people about your problems, they will talk about you. So what, who cares? Tell people, let them go, let it be their problem. When people start talking about you, it's their problem. What you just done is just you downloaded a whole load of problems onto them and if they want to talk about it, good luck to them. You know what they say about a problem half, a problem half is a part of problem. Shit is a problem half. Once you share your problem, you have half the problems somebody else has the other half. When they have the other half, what they'll do with it is their business. Not yours. No longer yours. Then the other thing is, don't internalize your problems. Always share problems. Do not internalize problems. Don't go to bed wondering what you are going to do about these problems. If you somebody you trust, or somebody, you don't even have to trust them, it's somebody you think is able to give you good advice. Or somebody you trust their judgment. Talk to them. Talk to them and be willing to listen. Be willing to be honest with yourself. Be truthful about your situation. I like life. There was a time that I felt like I was dying and I talked to myself. I sat myself down with a good cup of coffee in my hand and I said Madam, you're dyeing.. And I told myself I don't want to die. It's not time for me to die. There's so much I want to do. There's so much I want to achieve. So I told myself the best thing for me to do is to snap out of this. And I tried to identify the things that were making me really sad and I began to tick them and eliminate them one by one. And some of them means moving away from some people. Some people, when you are around them, you feel naturally sad. Some people when you are around with them, you feel very very happy. So what I told myself was, I begin to gravitate towards the people that make me happy. I spend more time with people who make me happy and less time with people who talk about you and make you sad or make you upset or make you drained emotionally. Spend less time with those people. Then you eat well. Improve your diet. Eat more fruits. Laugh a lot. Find a reason to laugh. Whatever the reason is, it doesn't matter, just laugh. I remember, I used to sort of locked myself in indoors and laugh and laugh until it hurts. It was I was like a mad person. I used to laugh until I was hurting. Find a reason to laugh. Then never give up. Never ever ever give up. Because you will be surprise how many people also have the same kind of problems or issues that you are going through. They don't talk about it, they don't tell people. And you think they're okay. They are not okay. Everybody has a problem or the other. People don't talk about, it doesn't mean they're okay. Some people have money, some people don't. Money should never be the reason why you are unhappy. You should find a way to make yourself happy whether you have money or not. Then spend sometime with yourself. Reflects, rethink about things about your life. Take a personal new time. Time out for yourself. Spend time with yourself. Spend time to be happy. And then some people find solace in prayer. Prayer, it works for me. Pray a lot. If you don't like that kind of thing then okay. But find time to relax. All work and no play like they said makes Yinka a dull girl and I don't want to be a dull. I want to be good, good, good, good!
